SPONSORED ROUNDTABLE: Beyond the Checklist - Cultivating Transformative School Communities
Monday July 14, 2025 6:30pm - 7:30pm CDT
This session is sponsored by International Baccalaureate.

This interactive 60-minute round table session is designed for school leaders eager to ignite profound change within their communities. Are you grappling with initiatives that feel more like checklists than catalysts for growth? Do your teachers often ask, "What do you want me to do?" rather than embracing the deeper "why" behind new programs?

Join us to explore the critical difference between transactional compliance and genuine, transformative understanding. We will unpack how compliance-driven expectations can inadvertently hinder true buy-in and discuss actionable strategies to cultivate a school environment where every educator is deeply invested in the purpose of their work. How can we replace mere task completion with authentic engagement? How do we foster a collective understanding that inspires innovation and sustained effort?

Participants will engage in rich, peer-to-peer discussions, reflect on their own experiences, and leave with concrete ideas to shift their school culture from mandated tasks to meaningful transformation. Discover how to empower your team, enhance student-centered learning, and ultimately, build a school community that thrives on shared vision and understanding.
