About me
Paula McDougald joined Virtual Arkansas in 2015 as a high school math teacher and transitioned to the design department in 2018. Now the Assistant Director of Design and Development, she manages course design projects and oversees organizational branding. With 17 years in education, a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, and a Master’s in Instructional Technology, Paula brings expertise from both traditional and online classrooms to her role.As Virtual Arkansas’s Quality Matters Coordinator, she has led over 80 course reviews, facilitated training, and completed over 40 reviews as a QM Master Reviewer. Paula is passionate about crafting engaging, high-quality learning experiences that empower educators and students.
